PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY.
THEVAULTED, Corp. ("Vaulted," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you interact with our websites, platforms, mobile applications, and other online services that link to this policy (collectively, the "Services").
This privacy policy applies to personal information that we collect and process in connection with your use of the Services. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or applications, even if they are accessible through the Services.
In some cases, we act as a service provider or data processor to business customers who use our Services to deliver services to their own end users. In those situations, the business customer remains responsible for providing notice and obtaining any required consents, and we process personal information only on their behalf and in accordance with their instructions.
Capitalized terms not otherwise defined in this privacy policy have the meanings assigned to them in our Terms of Service.
1. What Information We Collect About You
1.1 Information You Provide to Vaulted
When you interact with us through use of our Services or connecting with Support, we will collect your login details (such as your name, contact information, username, and password), banking information or other payment information for payment purposes, and other information as necessary to provide the Services to you. We may also collect other Personal Data you provide when uploading content or contacting us, for example, when needing customer support or when participating in a marketing promotion. If you register as a business or other legal entity, we also collect your legal entity name, business contact information, and government-issued business or tax identification number (such as an EIN) for account verification, payment setup, and tax and compliance purposes.
Communications and Chat. When you use the Services to communicate with other users, including through the in-app messaging feature between Owners and Renters, we collect the content of those messages and any information you include in them. Message content may be reviewed by Vaulted for purposes of dispute resolution, fraud prevention, safety, and enforcement of our Terms of Service. By using the in-app messaging feature, you acknowledge and consent to this collection and review.
The Services may request access to your device's camera or photo library, for example, to allow you to upload identity verification documents, item photos, or other media. We only access this content when you explicitly choose to upload or interact with it via our mobile applications. When you grant us access to your photos or identity verification documents, we may collect and process visual content, biometric information, and photo metadata. You acknowledge and consent to this collection and processing occurring automatically across all photos you make accessible to us, not limited to photos you explicitly select for uploading to the Vaulted app. You may manage access permissions through your mobile device settings.

1.2.2 Usage Data. Where our Services require an account, we may collect usage data when you or your users in your account interact with the Services. We engage third-party providers to collect usage data, and we only share data with these providers in an unidentified manner. Usage data includes metrics and information regarding your use and interaction with the Services such as what product features you use the most, when an object is opened and closed, and how often certain features are triggered in your account.
1.2.3 Information from Cookies and Similar Technologies. We and our third-party partners may collect personal information using cookies, pixel tags, or similar technologies. For more information on our use of cookies and your choices regarding cookies, please see Section 6 (Cookies). We may also collect information through other methods, such as online conferences, events, or contests.
1.2.4 Location and Device Information. When you use the Services via a mobile device, we may collect and process information about your device and real-time location, including GPS coordinates, device type, mobile operating system, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, and diagnostic data. We use this information to enable location-based features (such as pickup/drop-off coordination), enhance security, and improve app functionality. You can disable location access through your device settings, but this may limit certain functionalities of the Services.
1.2.5 Sensitive Data Processing. The Services may process data that is considered sensitive under applicable processing laws, such as geolocation data, biometric information, images of children, and inferences about individuals. By using the Services and granting access to your camera roll, you expressly consent to our collection, use, and processing of such sensitive data as described in this Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that processing of sensitive data is necessary to provide the core functionality of the Services.
You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time by discontinuing use of the Services and closing your account, though this will not affect the lawfulness of processing conducted prior to withdrawal. You retain the right to request deletion by contacting us at info@vaultedluxury.com.
2. How We Use Personal Data
2.1 To Provide the Services
We use your account information and Your Content to provide the products and services to you. We may also use this information to authenticate you when you use the Services and to provide customer support. We collect the content, communications and other information you provide when you use our Services, including when you initiate the use of the Services, create or share content, and message or communicate with others.
2.2 To Improve and Develop Our Product and Services
We may collect usage data about how you interact with the Services. We use this data to develop and improve the Services. For example, we use usage data to assess trends across the Services to help us determine what new features or integrations our users may be interested in.
We may publish aggregated data about how our Services are being used across our customer base. When we share statistical information externally in this way, the data will be aggregated and we will not identify individual users.
We may collect information about how you use our Services, such as the types of content you view or engage with; the features you use; the actions you take; the people or accounts you interact with; and the time, frequency and duration of your activities.
When you rent or list high-value items via the Services, we may collect transaction metadata (such as item type, valuation, and pickup/drop-off logistics) for operational, insurance, and fraud prevention purposes. This data is handled as part of your account profile and protected accordingly.
To Secure and Protect our Users. We use your account information to investigate and help prevent security incidents. We may also use this information to meet legal requirements. We use your information to verify user accounts, process new product signups, and to detect and prevent product abuse.
We may use log files to provide general statistics regarding use of the websites by you, including how you use our Services, what country you are logging in from (for analytics, export control and regulatory purposes) and to help improve the navigation experience. Your IP addresses are also collected and logged for security and debugging purposes, for example to track access patterns, investigate security events and incidents. For these purposes, we may link this automatically-collected data to other personal data provided by you.
2.3 To Communicate with Our Users
We use your account information to communicate with you, which could include providing updates and other information relating to our Services and products, providing information that you request, and responding to comments, questions, and requests. By providing your email address to Vaulted, you consent to receive emails from Vaulted at the address you provide, and you may opt out of promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in them. With your permission, we may also send you push notifications or in-app messages related to your account activity (such as rental confirmations, updates, or alerts) or promotional content, and you can opt out of promotional messages at any time through the app settings or your device notification preferences. If you opt out, we may still send you transactional or relationship messages, such as messages about your account, to ensure proper service delivery. Vaulted does not currently send SMS or text messages; if we introduce SMS communications in the future, we will provide the applicable consent and opt-out mechanisms at that time.
2.4 To Support and Improve AI-Powered Customer Interactions
When you interact with our AI-powered customer support chatbot (currently Fin.ai, operated by Intercom), we collect and use the content of your support conversations, including any Personal Data you provide during those interactions, for the following purposes: (a) responding to and resolving your support inquiries; (b) training and improving the accuracy and effectiveness of our automated support tools; (c) identifying recurring issues, trends, and areas for service enhancement; and (d) ensuring compliance with our Terms of Service and applicable laws. These partners are authorized to use your personal information only to fulfill delivery services on our behalf.
3.4 Compelled Disclosure
We reserve the right to use or disclose your Personal Data if required by law or if we reasonably believe that use or disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or comply with a law, court order, or legal process. If you use the Services, Your Content is considered confidential information, and you should review the confidentiality terms in the Terms of Service for more information.
